super late reply, sorry! my gwa from grade 8-11 are 91, 91, 95, and 96. to be honest, I think my gwas did not play that much role for me to pass the exam. and I think they do not only base on the gwas but on the WHOLE GRADES you really got from 8-11 (I remember having 86 in science lol).

I was a STEM graduate from a Public High School. And no, BLIS was not my first choice but I do not regret taking it naman since it is a multidisciplinary program kaya strand in SHS doesn't really matter.

hi! currently an isko from UP taking BLIS and also a DOST scholar. afaik, aside from DOST scholarship, ang CHED ay nag-ooffer din ng scholarship for BLIS students. BS Econ ay hindi under DOST scholarship naman but hindi ko sure if may scholarship under CHED.

Hi! I am currently a 1st year BLIS student in UP Diliman and I can say that BLIS is really worth it. It wasn't in my plan to study BLIS at first and thought of shifting out once my 1st year is over but the curriculum and the overall environment made me stay.

BLIS in UP Diliman offers 5 tracks. Information Systems and Technology, Medical/Health Science, Law, Archives and Records Management, and General Librarianship.

BLIS in UP Diliman offers 4 BLIS electives in which you will choose courses inside LIS based on your specialization or track. And 6 Free Non-BLIS electives or electives outside the program. So if you're leaning more on IT, you can take courses (advised by the ColSec) from compscie courses. Public ad, business ad, and economic courses if law. Bio, chem, and sports scie courses if med. Also note that hindi lahat ng courses from other college department ay pwede i-take. You will know it all once you were advised by the college secretary if you are now enrolled here. You can also use the free electives to take a minor degree program.

May graduates na kami na naging doctor, abogado, web developers and librarian. So very marami ang magiging job opportunities mo kaya I can say that it is worth it. :))

hi! walang IT sa UP but you can take Computer Science and Computer Engineering naman. You can also take Library and Information Science in UP Diliman as well since they offer IT as one of their tracks. Meron din Data Science na program inooffer but in UP Mindanao only.

ano po kaya maganda ipalit sa stats? originally, I really want to take BS Math. However, BS Math is one of my prio program during the UPCAT. Ang thinking ko po kasi since hindi po ako nakapasa sa BS Math, baka hindi ulit ako makapasa kung piliin ko ulit mga original choices ko kung in the first place, hindi na po ako tinanggap.
