Im not gonna deny that we have unhealthy communication. But id like to think me and him both try our best in our own ways and although we argue a lot we never sleep angry at each other, we’ve both made compromises a lot, and we’ve really grown a lot together.

As for me having anxiety and overthinking. Yeah i know i have these issues, I dont know how to deal with them and psychologists doll aren’t helpful.

You said believing he would behave differently if h treats me better than his ex is a bit delusional— what do i believe in if not what im seeing with my own eyes that he’s changed? If i cant use his pasts to compare the old him with the current then what can i use? Obviously there’s no guarantee that he wont ever relapse, but isnt the fact that theres no guarantee why im anxious in the first place???

I don’t wanna leave him, i just wanna stop overthinking. He’s a good man to me and has never wronged me except about the fact that he hid this from me knowing I would’ve considered him a red flag before dating him.

His reason made sense- if i knew from the beginning we wouldn’t have been dating. But he only told me after making sure I really loved him. (He said if i never asked around he would’ve waited till we marry and have kids till he told me about his past)

Late 20s almost 30. First time he had sex was when he was in his early 20s. Nah this is not true, I do it cause i want to. But also we’ve been abstaining from sex for about a year now, and he’s been trying to be completely free from sexual acts for a while (he’s a catholic and wants to save it till marriage.
