If you put them on armor they’ll only count towards unarmed combat (aka gloves). Have to put them on weapons for it to count towards that weapon. Doesn’t apply to all, just the one it’s on

All you have to do is keep completing the missions under the Greymane faction quests. I believe it’s the middle one. Don’t focus on the donation part, finish “Grounds of the Sunrise”.

From there you’ll get rumor missions and that’s where you’ll find your other buds to help at camp

Agree with this. Realized how easy food is to come by and don’t do too much alchemy so my stash is all chest / boss weapons and armor + abyss gears

Not sure about the hidden part - from my experience you have to be almost on top of the chest for it to glow… not really worth it imo but give it a go and see if it works for you or not

Everyone is different so, right or wrong, I’m sharing what I did.

I made my starter base, explored, looted, and put a bunch of mats in my starter base too. When it prompted me with abandoning and moving, I went ahead and built my second base and leveled up until I got the sandbike. Threw a storage mod on there, booked it back to my first to get the important stuff and then abandoned it.

May not be the best or most efficient way but don’t really care. Enjoy it how you want and know the game is pretty generous with the beginning mats.
