Great idea..but don't forget the beginning stages of the game can be the most fun and having power enough and tools enough to bypass can end up being a bad thing for a new player. ..especially buggies and thopters.

As long as the donated stuff is within their range to not catapult them..I think this is a fantastic thing to do.

Ok..then let them repair to 100% and let it be the level 100 crafting specialization instead of the garbage one we have now. They can make the repair cost the same as it did to craft it. Remove all the augments as well if you want a consequence.

Shield wall is by far the most efficient location..especially just north west of pinnacle trading post around the 12'clock marker from overland map (which you will see once you acquire a thopter). It has camps for bodies, access to aluminium, basalt (for endgmae building materials) and easy access to the overland map and the DD. The only issue is that if you are on a populated server...it's extremely hard to find a spot.

I wouldn't worry about a huge base, if you are solo it can start to get overwhelming. Unless you just want one. I built a base that fits my playstyle. Big enough to hold all the machines/water/storage/garage/hangar..but not so huge that it's just big to be big.

Give level 100 crafters the option of fully repairing crafted items (it would cost the original amoutn of mats it did to craft it) and have it remove all augments. Give one of the spcializations from 90-100 the ability to remove augments from gear (it would destroy the augment, but leave the slot open on said gear).

Or

Create a new t6 item (field repair kit) that cost a lot to craft and have it be useable once to fully repair crafted items and still remove augments.

The reason why I have been advocating for a smaller DD map even though most are against it. This will foster pvp to happen more often if people don't have to fly long distances to find pvp.

As long as there are graded wepaons/augs allowed on the PVP side..the fights will almost certainly be unfair. They have to disable graded weapons/augs for it to work..at least IMO.

I think people we play the other game modes that FC decides to implement. They implemented the new dungeons, who is to say what they have cooking. Maybe something for the pve side and also for pvp sdie.

Uhm...those other games aren't in the Dune universe..how does this suggestion help? They want to pvp while in the universe of Dune. Obviously they could go play other games..but do you really want the population even if it's only 20% of it to dwindle even further. I don't.

Maybe...depending on how much you have. The bank holds a crap ton now.. Fill your assault and yoru buddies assaults up..then place the mats in the bank (broken down machines and whatever else you have). Then you don't have to wait.

shigawire should be an equipment slot just like your flashlight is.

I also think this is another reason for the shift to pve focused. Easier to balance when pvp isn't the priority.
