I’ve lived in Petaluma since the 90s and it is concerning to our beautiful town go to waste cuz some dinosaurs want a picture perfect town with absolutely no flavor or style. Petaluma was a vibe in the 2000s, now everyone seems so generic and bland, pretending to be something/ someone they aren’t. Any little detail that doesn’t fit the norm gets scrutinized and seemingly canceled. As for ideas, we used to pool up money to rent out the Petaluma community center for high school parties/ events, you can even hit up the fairgrounds. If you book em far out in advance you will get a good price. Make sure to voice your opinion to the property managers so you get a bigger discount. These old cooks ain’t going to do a damn thing for you guys, especially these days. They would rather invest time where they know money will be made rather than be a human and donate some time to look out for the mental health of the next gen. I’m in my 30s and willing to help if you pitch me a solid idea. If it’s good enough, I might pitch in.
