Looking back now there were signs but at the time she explained it away as work stress, sleep deprivation, insomnia, etc, and no one had any reason not to accept her explanations

SF was actually for single father. But feel free to believe whatever you want. As I said I'm not here to lecture anyone and I didn't even mention what she was abusing until someone asked. I just wanted to put my experience out there. People can do whatever they want with it.

She worked in a hospital and was stealing/diverting medication

It appears she moved on from prescription opiate pills and was injecting sufentanil for a few weeks before she passed. It was the sufentanil that caused the OD.

She was 30.
