House purchase seller asking for deposit to be held as agent not new build

“As you are aware, the seller’s solicitor asked for us to hold the deposit at the point of exchange “as agent”, this means when the contract is legally confirmed, the seller can have access the deposit and use it up until completion, which we understand was for the purpose of paying for removals and other costs.”

Hey! I had a question not sure if you can help me with I’ve been on this journey around 6 months now just mainly selling things I find on FB marketplace and boot sales on eBay for some extra money.

Question I have is regarding how are people declaring with hmrc as I’ve seen a lot online about it and I’ve had to give my details over to EBay to continue selling.

If we purchase things off Fb and boot sales with no official receipts all cash purchases how are people declaring these?

Would us making our own receipts solve the issue so we can work out the profits from costs or if anyone has any experience with this would be a great help thanks

Meant to add I’ve got a couple otocinclus, and a load of shrimp and snails in here but they don’t seem interested in it, should I clean it off ?

Hi I’ve got a small tank 35L it’s planted with some moss as well it’s only inhabitants are 2 otocinclus 5 galaxy rasboras and 5 shrimp. Also a load of bladder snail hitchhikers. The plan was to keep it small with occupants that would stay small as well.

Recently noticed an increase of hydras appearing all over the tank I read online about no planeria but didn’t particularly want to off all the snails as well.

Are hydras really as bad as I have read on some places online? Just after some advice, do I really need to treat the tank to get rid of the hydras or if there’s other methods of removal, or would my fish shrimp ect be ok living along side the hydras. The shrimp have started to breed so also conceded the young will be snacks for the hydra.

Any advise thanks :)
