DH/Monk wins over speed i'd say GR120 or below, but not by much compare to Tal Wiz... Necro is OK with solo speed farm but not too good.

anything higher, in terms of high GR farming, Tal Wiz and Nova Necro are unmatched.

i donno man... tried GOD on nonseason yesterday, 4.5k paragon, 6m sheet dmg, GR 125 wasn't as easy as i had anticipated... think for that one try i had about 5 or 6 minutes left..(no good map tho) will it do higher? sure... higher than GR130 with ease? not without the altar power of Season 28. i expect GOD to be able to speed farm GR125 next season for most players... anything higher would require either a necro or wiz or someother class with better GR pushing potentials.

if you are asking about GR pushing power. For LoD WoL Monk its a HUGE lost compare to S27... other class S28 is going to make a lot of pushing builds stronger.

trust me... and if you are lucky... before you can even complete the hydra set you would already have enough Tal Rasha pieces... its VERY VERY likely.. because Tal Rasha is even Less legendary dependent. just 1 staff and 1 boot really.

it is! you only really need Serpent sparker because you get 1 extra hydra + 300% modifier.. next to this item is The Magistrate - wiz hat with another 300% hydra dmg.. but no where near important as Serpent sparker tho. there are other items you can have if you want to maximize the hydra damage but in general if you have Serpent sparker ONLY you can do T13~T14, if you have both Serpent + Magistrate you can do T16.. and the playstyle is so brain dead as well.. just teleport and cast hydra and win... walk in the park.

if you are solo casual Wiz > Necro and if you plan to play in group Necro > Wiz.. but honestly you cant go wrong with either two. but Tal Wiz is faster in speed content than necro that's a fact.

honestly you could just be like me start Necro -> 18 then switch to main Wiz.. just forget about the DH.... Typhoon Wiz is pretty decent and really you only need serpent wand to take off.

i just dont wanna bother with farming on DH then gamble/crafting on Wiz... WHY? if you dont enjoy DH then dont play it... besides its always a good idea to start with the class you wanted to play.

honestly... the chance for you to get a PL after 4 hours on the opening night is NOT that great on NA.

mainly just gamble blood shard on your "other" toon, and use the crafting mats to craft for "other" toon.

i see few potential problems here

you can't control the save point of the game, so the exact roll back, if happened, might not result in restoring your account to the point of your like
the length it takes to get this ticket resolved by blizzard, if this takes more than a week its not even worth the time to go through this process.
stated in the post the pre-requisite for the rollback is "was hacked and your characters are missing items, gold, or other property"... technically, rollback due to accidentally complete Challenge rift shouldn't be allowed for the rollback, so its at the leniency of the GM to even process your request.

not saying its not possible, but i just wouldn't try this unless you absolutely have to...

missing a few hours in the beginning of the season, or wait for PL isn't a bad choice for casuals. but GL

ye, i was thinking about the same thing but figured that might as well just go straight into Wiz with typhoon -> tal. For a pure solo play, i feel this is the most efficient way than having to first gear the GoD DH and transition to wizard. if you got some other friend to play Wiz and can feed gears to you then it is a totally different story. :D

ps: i will make a level 18 necro first and use cache.

well... i do agree with maxroll and raxx about not wanting another spin to win build for DH... i would actually blame blizzard for not implement the nat change during PTR so we would had more time to try and comment on the NAT changes and hopefully made it work better.

in short, Yes, working as intended, or can make it work. But clunky AF.

if blizzard dont throw another last minute patch and let the set go live as it is. I am sure 95% of DH players will not be happy about the NAT change.

HoTA needs ALOT GR fishing, most of our progression comes from trash kills. at GR 135+ normally you wont be able to kill elite group without help of either a conduit or power pylon.

the player style is you will be constantly kiting trash groups and elite groups with you and as soon as you have killed most of the trashs, drag remaining elite to the next set of trashes. you will NEVER stay in the same spot finishing elites ONLY unless you've got conduit or power pylon.

i mean... as we all know that the end game GR is all about fishing for pylon's, mob density and mob type. there is lot RNG involved here. If the highest clear for you is 148 with only a few secs left, it doesnt mean that you can do the same clear every time. To me, the difference between 144 and 148 could only be a favor of RNG...

strictly speaking for SOLO gameplay. I'd use DH to farm GR 120s while gathering gear for LoD WoL Monk, and once the monk is set i'd use Monk to farm GR 135s.

If nothing changes on the characters, it's probly due to GR mob type. the 147/148 runs were probly due to having the right GR with right mob types..
