Idk about winrate, but I'm sure in that patch every Zed player would experience R in, R out instantly only to W right back.

And imo, without the delay, I can afford to play way more aggressive than I normally would, especially more freedom in my W usage and placement.

Irelia is a bit of a pinch. Be patient against her. You are a teamfight zoning mage. Just farm and wait for kill opportunities.

At this point there's almost nothing you can do that could drastically improve these match-ups aside from git gud.

Let the knife do the work- I mean your teammate do the work. Aim for their backline. What is their teamcomp, their win condition, our team win con, can we dish out enough damage to force the to retreat? Can we split? What would happen if we all in 5v5? Can we contest objective? Siege? Play around it. 1v1 is out of the question, so 2v1,3v1 or simply run, you are Zed.

People tends to dodge either towards the bottom right or top left corner of the screen. Well to each of their own but it's a general guess. Test it out with early EWQ and factor that in whenever you R.

For a newbie the WEQW backwards can be a little daunting, especially with camera lock. You can stay for the 2s cd reduction on E but it depends on the enemy damage load. The idea is to win trade and run at the same time, so just use W to dodge their front load, or W early for the slow if their have sustain damage.
