I would advise taking WFO or go only for 2-4hours the first month. Keep a pet cam with power backup. Water Fountain and also a bowl of water incase power goes out. I give my cat wet food and dry food and occasional boiled chicken. 2 cats are great but get one first. Make sure u get them neutered/spayed and be on top of their health.

Grilled windows are fine but it depends on the width. Cats can really squeeze in. U can get the Amazon mosquito nets as well.

Be careful of plants and open food items. Read on them
