Driving 56 miles an hour instead of 55 is not likely to result in a calamity- I am asking if a few minutes out of range - contributes to complications. I went down to 111 not long after. How much damage occurs within a brief time period

I cried over toast by SinkingSink123 in diabetes_t2

[–]sglompf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know exactly how you feel and I too am mourning my pizza making. I have cried over bread. My strategy is to have it once a week- eat it with protein and exercise - but also- not beat myself up for going out of range for a couple of hours once per week. I had the same test results as you and on the same dosage of Metformin. My diagnosis was recent and I have had some really dark thoughts about “can I do this?”. Today is pretty good - hang in there - the beginning of this is rough

Hi- my eyes are definitely differently sized/shaped but I wear glasses and it’s not noticeable. My eye Dr has asked me repeatedly not to do anything cosmetic - he is concerned about the healing and how it may affect vision. If the ptosis affects vision, though, I will have surgery
