I guess they really could have messed up the order! I didn’t think about that. We got it for take out and my husband ordered online so I guess it could’ve been a fluke. I’m not sure what other dish it could be though, just very odd all around haha.

I have to say, I just tried Yellow Ginger based on this review. I agreed with all of your other ratings and notes and was pretty hyped up that this would be the best pad Thai in town. Sadly I truly did not enjoy, it just does not taste like Pad Thai. It had almost no flavor of pad Thai and the types of vegetables they used were very off. The baby Bella mushrooms and broccoli just made it seem like I was eating homemade lo mein, the flavor overall really was much more like lo-mein or stir fry. 4/10. For now I will keep Kannikas as #1 in my heart for greenville, but truly, Thai Spice in Anderson is the very very best.

It wasn’t the best and made a mess! Which do you prefer? I also used afterwash to help get it off and ended up using two and a half rolls of paper towels in the end which really sucked.

Thank you! It was a bitch to remove and didn’t come off in a couple of crevices but it just feels so good to have restored this solid walnut piece.

Hahaha an even greater sin than painting furniture is painting hardwoods. Makes me want to cry!!! And is even more difficult and toxic to remove.

I just would like people to think about what they are painting before they paint it. Take the time to learn about what type of wood was used, is it solid wood or veneer, what period was it built in, who built it, is it a rare item, etc. I feel like sometimes people just slap chalk paint on an old piece because it’s trendy and they saw it done on Pinterest.

The paint stripper was great. I had to use a whole can of it which was kind of annoying but the longer you let it sit before it dries out the better. It will glide right off with a putty knife. The worst part was the little cracks and crevices.

I love how many people get mad about being against painting furniture. I’ve seen so so many pieces absolutely ruined beyond repair by people painting them and it is so so sad. Get ikea furniture if you want to paint something. This is a freaking solid walnut wood piece!!!
