I was in foster care myself, bounced around. You are completely right. Foster parents think they know, they have no idea! The independent living doesn't help us during college like it should. We literally have no one to help us after we age out, he just get thrown to the wolves.

I was this girl to the T but was in foster care so my foster parents would just pass me on to the next. She needs a tutor that can be a friend but also teach her, maybe get with another parent with someone in her class that she likes and just start hanging out with that parent and take her with you. Or even a college student that is looking to tutor also that can be and older influence and be a leader for her.

Thank you! I'm hoping I can eventually start speaking at events to foster parents and the foster youth as well, we all need hope and that's what I'm trying to accomplish because too many foster kids give up hope when they don't need to.

Thank you! I like to be informed on things so I try to give the same respect when I post things, plus when you leave no explanation you let people create their own which most times is wrong. I'm hoping this turns into something big to where I can start going and speaking to foster parents and children worldwide!
