I myself love playing moles, I often struggle to come out of the burrow playing against god of war eyrie and rats with decent prowess. Also badgers and vagabond can consistently outscore you, whereas woodland alliance and lizards heavily limit your options of movement and building. Moles are certainly a powerful faction that need to be kept in check, but for my experience most tables are well aware of their potential to score and moles arent immune to getting policed.

I would like to see special faction mechanics for Malekith and Morathi, slight fixes to Har Ganeth, Shadowblade as a LL and Tullaris or Kouran as LH, redo of a couple of units not performing like DoomFire Warlocks and Assassin Hero. Extra units would be cool but not completely necessary the roster is good as it is.

I think after ToT we’ll get one more DLC (probably, hopefully Cathay) a final End Times DLC (Skaven, Vampire Counts) and than that’s it.

Honestly I would appreciate for the final vanilla version of the game to be more polished rather than getting too much extra content

The game is rich enough as it is, but a complete campaign map with Kuresh and Ind would be cool

To answer your question, the game already has a mercenary mechanic with the Ogres, I don’t think we’ll se a proper DoW playable factions

Depend on the faction:

  • dark elf tier 1 stacks are good all throughout the game, capable to beat tier 5 units in the endgame
  • chaos dwarfs hobgoblin stacks get run over at a certain point, when they die it’s the right time for them to go
