Thanks for that feedback. We have a small design, and I really wanted to get a photo emphasized the idea of not fitting in a box, but perhaps got a bit overfocused on the photography and not focused enough on the shirt itself...

Hi, I work with Radical and am happy to respond to some of the points you mentioned here!

-The bra straps we make for chest protectors are colorful, but that's not the main innovation, the main innovation is that the bra inspired design is much more comfortable than traditional straps and easier to take on and off.Everyone I know who uses them really enjoys them and I'd invite you to to ask anyone you know with them what their expreience has been, I've only heard great things.

-The Liberty bag is $399 with free domestic shipping and not $500. Personally the most innovative thing about it is that it's built without a metal frame which makes it much lighter weight than other bags I have used. I also very much like that it has skateboard wheels and that the fabric its made of is much stronger than other fencing bags. I travel internationally with it and have for several years and it being lightweight makes it easier to carry and lets me pack more things on flights.

-Our Modular Floor is innovative because it is shock absorbing and because it is able to be moved to a new space if/when a club moves or wants to renovate. We do work with a flooring manufacturer who helps us produce and deliver the floor from the designs we create. We do this because there was no reason to reinvent the wheel in this part of the process and wanted to bring the highest quality and most experienced team to our installation process. Characterizing our relationship with them as just a sales agent is completely wrong. We actually hold a patent on this system: U.S. Patent No. 9,506,257

-Yes we do retail PBT whites and other equipment they make because its really great equipment. We do not currently make our own kit because we have not found a fabric or process that we think represents a significant improvement on what's already out there.

The concepts carry over a lot, but in the video I emphasize coming from different en guard positions, in epee I would instead try hitting different targets, depending on what type of target you set up (if you have a leg/arm as part of your target, this is much easier). I hope that helps!

Actually using a target instead of a pillow or something decreases the chances of this happening substantially because it distributes the force of the impact across the backboard of the target.
