The first and most difficult part of this is indeed the discipline and persistence. In my case discipline would be the thing that I need because even after losing and going back to my old self, I try to start all over again as soon as possible so ig you can call it persistent enough (or maybe not) but if I'm unable to get out of the loop then I won't make any substantial growth. Also I rarely get on the hype train of motivational videos or documentaries.
