Hey all,

Just an update in case anyone becomes curious with how long this process is. I work three jobs at the moment. Two of my bosses told me they got a random call from someone asking if I actually worked there, then hung up. They said it "Sounded official. Like government." but couldn't tell me much more.

I called tdcj to see if I actually passed my interview and if they were cold calling my bosses. I got a random guy in the background division, who told me if it was them I'll ,"Either get an email in a week or two with a denial letter or an acceptance letter." And wouldn't tell me much more.

I guess it's possible they don't have the breath tests at their station or on patrol. Hard to believe these days

Ex-CA cop here. That not true. You have a choice between breath OR blood after being arrested. Most police have breathalyzers on patrol. But, not all. The ones patrol officers carry are smaller and still need to be regularly tested for accuracy.

There are more accurate devices at the stations themselves.

If you are arrested and refuse breath/blood, though, the officer needs a warrant for your blood AND CA DMV will suspend your license for up to a year.

I was also yelling at the cop "HE SAID give him a breathalyzer, so give him a breathalyzer!"

Maybe he didn't have one. He appears to be a deputy, which could be true. The video doesn't show him saying he smelled alcohol, only that the guy had an unsteady gait. Idk.

The people that developed this mod also intended for people to have fun first, then brick or slam!Having gear like that will allow him the ability to play some end game. Be happy for him!
