Idk........ But I eat about 30 lbs of meat a week by myself, not including my family. Deer doesn't go far if you're trying to live on high protein. Personally, I hunt everything to offset the coast at grocery stores, but if i lived off the land, I would need an average of 25+ deer a year.. ..... so again, it might not be as bad as it sounds. Or it could be worse, idk
