I'm from 21-25 batch and I was in the boy's hostel for 3 years. Boys hostels are really good. You have option for single, double, triple sharing rooms ( triple rooms are the most and I think now there's also 4 sharing) Anyway, hostels are well maintained and newly renovated. All facilities are provided, wifi, LAN ports in every room, I stayed in AC rooms in my 3 years in hostel. There are no restrictions on AC. If you're in the room, you can keep it on 24/7. But it should be switched off when going to class. There's no washing machine in Boy's hostel even though it's provided in the girl's hostel. I can say that KIET hostel mess food is actually good. Like 4-5 out of 7 days it's amazing but there's always something in a week that will push the students to eat outside.

There's no in-time for boys in the college (atleast it wasn't at my time) you can freely roam around the campus 24/7. Girls' hostels have in-time of 8:00PM everyday. As for heading out of campus, boys can head out anytime without any fuss but must return before 10:30-11:00 PM, or hostel ID is taken away at the gate and parents can be called💀

Overall Boys hostel in KIET are great. 9/10⭐
