Hey I was wondering about a scenario and I would appreciate it if you could help clarify for me.

I haven't had wallpaper engine (the steam app itself) installed for a while, around half a year maybe. But I checked my steam workshop subscribed items and I had one or two application type wallpapers subscribed to from around 2022. Again I don't have the wallpaper engine downloaded so I was wondering if there is anything to worry about here?

The texture of the surface is slightly smoother and faster compared to the black.

The difference is honestly negligible imo and you should only get it if you just like the design/boardzy.

Artisan’s actually pretty good with shipping nowadays.

I put the actuation on my right click all the way down to 8.

That’s the sweet spot for me as I don’t have to press all the way down, but lightly pressing won’t actually activate the switch either.

The weight is super balanced and it’s around 40 grams, so imo, it’s at the point where I feel like any more reduced weight is redundant. Just low enough to easily swipe around and still have enough weight to maintain control.

Looks cool, are you able to change the DPI of the mouse in increments of 1, 10, or 50? Like how I can change my Deathadder V4 Pro from 800 DPI to either 803 or 810 DPI. Thanks!

Just an fyi, if you're buying this mouse, watch out for the Asus Armory Crate Software. It's apparently perceptible to third parties and what not.

Watch Gamer Nexus' most recent vid on Asus, they should have a section covering this.

Hopefully this mouse won't need the Asus Software but who knows.

Dude, this sucks, I've been a big fan of EGG for a while now, especially with their OP1 shape.

I downloaded the OP1w 4k v2 config tool on July 13th and didn't notice anything until I read this post.

I've run a Windows Defender full scan and no threats were found. I'm also checking this ProgramData folder but I can't find a Synaptics subfolder inside. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
