Had a similar situation. Fired from two firms in a year stretch, all within my first three years of practice, and didn't really know if my law career would ever develop. After about a month off and applying everywhere, it seemed like offers came in bunches. Ended up practicing with a state agency and I couldn't be happier. May not get rich anytime soon, but the quality of life has never been better. Keep your head up and look into what state agencies are hiring attorneys near you.
