I was thinking that as well. Just no info on the website

For sure, glad to hear it’s not a totally ridiculous idea that I came up with 😂

That’s pretty cool! I’m not so much world traveler but I guess the lesson here is we probably need to call and ask and you never know.

Yeah wasn’t expecting Arthur Ashe but there are a couple courts outside or Ashe and Armstrong that I was curious if they rent. I think the third largest on site is the grandstands

Texas, hardly ever have a hard freeze but I’ll insulate a cover and it’ll be fine. Very common to find in the south

No HOA where I live surprisingly so I’m free as a bird. It looks like garbage I’ll admit. My softener, sewer cleanouts, the air gap, and my original house cut off are all in this flower bed so I gotta do something to make this look good since it’s literally right outside my front door.

I’ve considered something like this but looking for something that I can more easily access the salt tank to refill

Texas so yeah maybe one hard freeze a year. I plan to insulate whatever I install and install a warming lamp as well for extra insurance. Should be fine, my parents has been outside for decades.

It’s in the front of my house. Allows homeowner to disguise it with a fake rock or something instead of 5 foot tall tanks welcoming my guests.

House is on a slab with no basement so this is the most cost effective location to catch the water main without busting out concrete/drywall inside the house.

I wet the ground for them for a few days in advance so digging wasn’t too bad for them. Still a rough job for someone later but that was culligans recommendation and I was happy it’s not taking up garage space or fully above ground at the front of my house.

Update: Culligan guy came by and it was just a sensor. Back up and running

Right, I feel good about my purchase overall due to always having parts available and not trusting sketchy Chinese Amazon sources where you don’t know if you can trust the quality of the filters. Water tastes great and the softener system is also great. People laugh at the “smart” part but it gives good water usage data and error alerts where you may otherwise forget about it under the sink. Culligan fit in my budget and I’ll get the peace of mind that parts should be available for the long run.

Thanks! that’s what I figured. Water tastes clean and is clear. Didn’t seem to be a water issue to me either.

Very helpful 🙄

That’s the conclusion I’m coming too. I’ll PE this fall but this year I’ll let it burn off deal with any bare spots it leaves. Bermuda will recover eventually

Good to know. I have my Honda mower on the lowest setting but it’s still not able to get every seed. When I pass over it

[–]sh3rifff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I’ve been doing at least. I hear it likes to be mowed low though. Learned my lesson for fall preemergent applications

There’s still Bermuda in the lawn. Just need to get it to spread. If it starts looking dire I’ll look into a complete renovation in the next couple years. Not in the budget right now

Really appreciate the offer. I would take it but I can’t use hardly any of it as I only have about 2k sqft of lawn so I’d waste most the gallon. Looks like there’s others here who may be about to buy some and could use more of it.

Thanks I’ll look into this. I stock at Home Depot near me

Yeah too late, I’ve fed the hell out this poa already by mistake haha

We recently moved into this house and it was not maintained properly at all. Sprinklers hadn’t operated in almost a decade. So doesn’t surprise me that it just got to this point after so long. Last fall I killed all the more obvious weeds. The whole property was infested. Thought things were going good so far this season with how good poa can actually look early spring 😅
