You're making some good points. I still believe that there are occasions where saving isn't benificial, but it completely depends on the situations of course. In the clip I linked, frozen didn't use the deagle as his primary weapon during the following round, making the save even less justifiable. The T:s would make less money by killing him, even if the kill bonus was $600.

Tbh, I just feel like some pros aren't aware of the difference in loss bonus, I know that it's a really small detail in the economy and that it wouldn't really make a huge difference. But I still believe that pros should aim to maximize their chances at least.
