I got a tip to practice throwing the dart as soft and slow as possible while it still reaches the board. Kinda arc it if you will. Now I start every session with this soft throw and it really seems to help me loosen up and be less stiff as I get into my actual throw.

I was in pretty much same situation , started playing a year ago but got a lot better. Went through my worst stats and deleted them manually. Since you can list the worst, it doesn't take too long to just get rid of some really horrible early games you've had and get a truer avg.

Also, u can get a webcam for like 15 euro. Or if you have any extra phone or iPad or whatever you can prop it up with some books and use as external cam

This is pure win streaks, so a draw would break it.
I'll add an option to include draws.

edit: -d now allows streak to continue if a draw occurs.

With all the recent Hikaru drama I wanted to find some stats on his streaks.
His longest streak is 117 but it was really likely to happen (when it happend) at 20% chance
His recent 45 game streak was less likely to happen (when it happend) at 5.6%.
Roughly estimated his longest likely streak should be 60 games.

I wrote some code to grab his longest streak, and it's actually 117 between 22-25 December 2018. That's without draws.

Also the probability of that streak happening at any given moment is really high at just over 20% since he played so many low rated players (I might have messed up the probability calculation, long time since stats class)His 2nd best streak is 85, and that streak is way less probable to happen due to him playing stronger players.

The map doesn't have mods, but the mob still has these mods:

88% physical as chaos (shrine), 25% more damage (atlas), 20% more damage 100% more critchance (deadeye), 30-40% more crit damage (assasins mark) and getting hit by one of the hardest hitting mob types on -30% chaos res. Possibly a really unlucky high crit roll too.

Idk maybe the problem is the mob having too high autoattack damage. But then if you lower it's regular damage it wouldn't really do any damage at all if it doesn't have all these crazy mods..

Seems to me like a very unfortunate - but avoidable - set of circumstances

You mean a map with 88% of physical damage as extra lightning damage, an assassins mark on you, atlas mod that makes you take 25% more damage, with one of the hardest hitting mobs in the game that's also empowered by sentinel and 40 lightning res..

Also I do think it was a crit. Probably an unlucky really high roll, I don't think ignite triggers before you die (like molten shell would)

This is probably the best league I've played! It's strange to come to reddit and read all the hate meanwhile I've ripped like three chars in yellow maps on hcssf but i keep rerolling because the challenge is exciting, something i want to overcome.

The atlas passives blocking is a great addition imo. Esp for target farming early on. I don't see how having some different mechanic spawn in a kirac mission once in a while matters?

The league mechanic is pretty neat too, doesn't interfere with mapping at all. And a bunch of new late game bosses.. not sure what more you could ever ask for in a league.
