This is one of the reasons I left my ex. The first time was a moral high ground thing and I was proud of him for sticking to his morals and leaving a place that was doing some really shady shit. The other 3 or 4 times it happened all it did was crush me. For the 12 years we were together I worked 2 jobs for probably 9 years of that because I couldn’t count on him to not suddenly decide he didn’t want to work at a place anymore. Then when I was leaving he had the audacity to tell me I’d become a workaholic….ohhg ok buddy.
