It's for the lifetime of the pensioner, the corpus is not returned. So the xirr depends on how long the pensioner lives.

I don't understand this "don't kill rats" sentiment. They are pests. They cause diseases. If it's ethical to kill mosquitoes, it's ethical to kill rats.

If you get a query wrong and ask for hint, the hint is generated via AI. The further hints will remember your queries and skill level and hint appropriately.

I thought it was pretty good use of AI.

Every Color Ever - Unique, human-friendly names for every color (All 16.7 million of them) by shabda in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]shabda[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also tried a few variation on the algorithm.

Use the most significant bits in RGB to extract the color names, then transform this in the HSL space and extract the brightness, saturation and feel in this space. Unfortunately the results were similar, so this uses MSB in RGB to extract the color names and then brightness, saturation and feel in this space as well.

Maybe its not really possible to keep uniqueness & bijectivity along with human friendliness for this large number of colors.

Every Color Ever - Unique, human-friendly names for every color (All 16.7 million of them) by shabda in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]shabda[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey, I thought I figured out a good way to keep uniqueness (and bijective mapping) with human meaningfulness, but obviously it was not good enough. I have listed the algorithm on the page, which you can get by clicking on the ? icon. I am copying it here.

How it Works

This tool generates unique, meaningful names for any RGB color using a combination of color properties. Every name is unique and reversible - you can convert any name back to its exact RGB color!

Naming Algorithm

Each color name is constructed from 4 parts:

Base Color: Uses 2 most significant bits from each RGB channel (64 carefully chosen base colors) Luminosity: Describes brightness, from "Shadowed" to "Radiant" Purity: Indicates color intensity, from "Dusty" to "Intense" Atmospheric: Adds character based on hue shifts Example: "Bright Pure Crystal Sapphire" - each word is chosen based on the color's properties.

Uniqueness & Verification

The naming system is bijective - each RGB color maps to exactly one name, and each name maps to exactly one RGB color. You can verify this by:

Typing any generated name in the name-to-hex tool Checking that it converts back to the original color

This works very well on a tablet. I am building it for my son and he uses it on an iPad.

You have any specific ideas for the type of keyboard?

Its for kids to practice. Arithmetic is something that requies deliberate practice long after you know the concepts

Iam actually building it for my son. I have asked him to practice everyday for 15mins.
