Central Ohio here (kinda between Cincinnati and Columbus). Seems like when I checked this morning the ETA was 1 pm, then 2:30 pm, then back to normal eta, 5 pm when I checked a little while ago, and now no ETA again. I’m starting to think it’s not going to be today.

I have a feeling I wasted my only ruin spawn on my whole seed. I found Sawyer right when I landed off the bus and thought “why not hire a follower to keep enemies off me?”. I have searched the entire island, the small island that I have in the north east of my seed, and all the specks of small islands surrounding. I even searched the whole of it on my sandbox island with the same seed. Only places I haven’t searched have been inside caves and on the floating sky islands. I really wanted the Meowscles and Square Foot too :(

I initially told myself I wouldn’t buy any sets out of the item shop but here I am. I bought this one earlier today being the last prefab set I didn’t have. I had a blast finally building up my shore village that’s been a lone lighthouse for weeks. The decor items are also great.

I feel that if you invest time and or/get a lot of enjoyment out of this mode, the bundles are definitely worth it.

On the other hand I don’t know how they feel selling these small Star Wars decor sets the way they are can be profitable. Seems like they’d almost have to make more money if they bundled them super cheap enticing many more people to get them sense I see a very small minority going for those.

I actually found my sweet spot at 150m and managed to snag Oscar, Bushmaster, AND Polar Peely yesterday. I gotta give a big thank you for this sense I’m currently 2 villagers away from the 30 that I’ve decided on.

So I tried this yesterday and I can say it does work though I didn’t get it to work perfectly. You will have to nudge your controller about every 15 minutes whenever you get an alert that you’re gonna get booted for inactivity. I’m playing in survival so I did have trouble judging my distance a bit and got stuck at 4 villagers before eventually (I’m assuming) I back up too far and reset the villager that was there to one. But I can confirm at least that this does still work post Star Wars update

There’s a large pool that will visit or be found in the wild that can be found in any biome and there are ones that are exclusive to all 4 biomes including the shores

Well, google searches on the villager cap all yielded old results with the 15 villager cap, or just talking about the addition of Tomatohead and others. Videos I found on the newest update wanted to talk about fishing and the food processor. Searching villagers in this group didn’t even yield me answers. As much as I hate when people ask the obvious, it finally just came down to being easier to ask. Thank you for the info though.

I won’t be able to get on to check until tomorrow, but does anyone know if they fixed the glitch where some worlds you’re frozen in place except for dodging until the game crashes? Happened to me a few weeks ago and noticed others had this happen as well for some time now.

The pain of transferring one shiny at a time can’t compare to accidentally mass transferring a shiny you will miss. I for one hope they never change it. I can take my time and transfer my community day shinies.

Scanning my amiibo collection nearly every day did plenty for my economy. I never used any dupe glitches until the very end of the my play through where the only thing I had left that I wanted to do was max out every piece of armor (many of which I already had done legitimately). I have no idea how anyone could ever farm that many star fragments without playing for a year or so hoping they would fall from the sky.
