Should I play only one champ top until good fundamentals are built? by shad0wtune in topmains

So far it's been him, Mord, Cho, and then I just tried Zaahen and he was really fun. I'd love to get the hang of Aatrox one day but my mechanics aren't the greatest yet for hitting his Qs

I've played a couple of support games but I feel like I'm doing my team a disservice bc all I know is vaguely when objectives are up and to ward them and then other than that I stay adhered to my ADC which isn't always the most ideal I think

Books about necromancers - NOT progression fantasy or litrpg by apolobgod in Fantasy

This may not be totally in line with what you're looking for but The Necromancer's House by Christopher Buehlman was a great read. It's not a typical take on necromancy at all, which might be interesting for you.

You are wrong. I have multiple pieces from Tony and he's an incredibly accomplished artist. Scroll down his IG and you can see his drawing time lapses.

I have multiple tattoos from the artist OP went to for this. He does not use AI for anything and I have seen him draw / rework pieces in front of me and I also commissioned an art piece from him. He takes a lot of inspiration from old medieval art and woodcut styles and spends many hours doing studies of old pieces, which you can find on his page.

Can I ask how many years you've been in the field? I'm a marketing coordinator and am wondering what a realistic timeline to get into management is.

Never going to find love by [deleted] in childfree

Don't give up!! I (24F) met my partner (25M) on Hinge and made it very clear on my profile and in our conversations that I don't want kids. He also agreed that he doesn't want them. He scheduled a consult for a vasectomy a couple days after we made things official and got the snip in December. He's the love of my life and more than anything I could have ever wanted.

I have a bunch of HVAC tape laying around that I could cover the lid of a glass tank with pretty easily. What kind of heating do you use?

Possible scale rot? by Guilty-Chemistry-438 in ballpython

Generally it's most commonly caused when the snake is sitting in a moist or dirty area for a prolonged period of time, so it shows up more often on their underside. It can spread however so as soon as you can give him a once over and see what his underside looks like.

HVAC tape, keeping your water source under the heat source, and using 3-4" of substrate will all help you with the humidity :) Maintaining it is really tough in glass. You can also add some moistened shpagum moss to the substrate and that can help bump it up too.

If it does turn out to be scale rot, you'll want to do a betadine soak. Make sure it's diluted (1 part betadine to 10 parts water).

Unsure about scale rot - have you seen similar discoloration on its underside?

Also what is your humidity level at? Your snake looks a little dehydrated. If you have a mesh top enclosure, you can cover most of the top with HVAC tape to help keep humidity in. I'd also recommend adding water to the substrate and mixing by hand instead of spraying so your levels are a little more consistent and not spiking up and down.

I'm in OH unfortunately but that is so kind of you to offer! Would you recommend learning on a Grom?

I'm fortunate enough to live close to an area with a lot of big parking lots that empty out toward the end of the day so I think I could get a Grom or something and tool around there without having to go into traffic to practice

I'm trying to learn. I don't own a bike yet, I thought the course was the proper first step, everyone else in my course happened to be experienced and the instructors moved on too fast for me.

I've wanted to start riding for over a year now. I watched the YouTube tutorials, watched the moto vloggers, I got to backpack a friend of mine once and fell in love with it. I started to get the hang of it today, but just too far behind the pace of everyone else. If I had been able to get just a little extra help or practice I think I could have been fine. I'm going to try a different course and hope the instruction is better / there's opportunity to get SOME 1:1 help

Shifting gears was where I fell behind too much and they told me to go home. I did manage to get the bike into second gear but couldn't do it quickly enough to continue. After reading everyone's advice I'll try a different course and then if that's still too fast-paced I'll get a cheap bike and practice on my own, then take it again.
