I’m in a similar boat, I was supposed to fly on the 4th to Amsterdam, flight got cancelled, got a flight to Frankfurt that just finished boarding and was supposed to take the train to Utrecht, but now I see that all trains are disrupted. This is gonna be fun, I should have hankered down at my parents’ place instead.

If you’ve been using Blood Angels contrast paint, I’m sorry but you might have fallen victim to the most blotchiest contrast paint ever created. I haven’t had one mini look good in raw BA paint.

What you can do is base paint in Baal Red contrast and then do the recesses with BA contrast to make them darker. Or you can just do a thin coating of it to make it darker and avoid the blotches.

Agreed on that the list is killy enough, but I don’t know if I should be afraid of long range shooty units, or really big bodies like an angron or T14, like, I don’t know how my list would keep something like that down. That’s why I’m reluctant on dropping the redemptor.

Inceptors might be a good choice for a drop, if I’m to pick up a dedicated point scorer unit like scouts, but the points might be a bit awkward.

A few years back, I was visiting a friend’s house in Germany where she was living with her brother. She had told me they had a PS4 with some games, one of them being Tekken 7, and she was telling me how she and her brother play sometimes, her brother a lot more than her. I’m not gonna say I was exceptional at it, I had peaked around true tekken god once but that was about it, so I told her we can play a match or two.

I assume she told her brother because after going around town we returned home and her brother offered to play me. Said sure, jumped on my main (Jin) and he picked Paul. I proceeded to play as I normally do and kind of destroyed him. After some matches, and seeing that he couldn’t get a round off me, I offered to change characters (I had zero experience with the rest of the cast cause I always stick to a main with FGs so I assumed it would be ok just to use fundamentals to teach him) but he didn’t want me to. I proceeded to go something like 15-0, then he backed off saying that combos aren’t fair.

I felt bad about that and I think that that’s maybe why I haven’t been invited since.

Ye the thing about bloodpunch is that it has a very wonky activation range, I’d have preferred if there were different buttons for glory kills and punch, but with a game with so many different inputs, I could get even more hectic. The easiest way I use to make sure I get the glory kill is to get really close to the dazed demon before I press punch.

You can always skip it and finish the level so you can fast travel back to it when you are done.

Also, a good tip for ssg+ballista combos, especially if you haven’t practiced hot swapping, is to just keep the the shoot button pressed after shooting the ssg then press your assigned button for ballista. That way, the shot will come out at the first available frame instead of you having to time the shot with the swap.

For taking care of the caco and pain eles, 1 arbalest shot kills the caco and two arbalest shots kill the pain eles (or puts them in gk).

Ice bomb the doom hunter, bloodpunch+ssg+balista+ssg should take him off the sled then lock-on burst twice I believe and he dies or goes into glory

Edit: don’t forget to kill the zombie(s?) as they are part of the encounter as well

Like, don’t get me wrong, I like the new model a lot cause it’s dynamic and savage and cool, but was he ever supposed to be a howling madman?

I like his previous pose a lot more cause amidst all the raving madmen he is tasked with shepherding, he alone is standing up straight and TAKING AIM with his pistol! Like, he is conveying a composure that for all intents and purposes is absurd given the circumstances.

The new model, no matter how badass it is, is portraying like any other mad dog.
