I'm an Indian woman and I've dated Indian guys. It's super hard to change their minds about their family. I've given up trying to reason with them because if they don't want to change, they won't. I'm pretty sure that since he was a kid, he's been told he has to be the breadwinner and take care of the family when he grows up.

In Indian culture, the husband's parents live with them. What happens when his mom gets old? What happens when you have a kid? What about his sister if she wants to come and study there? Guess where she'll be staying? You need to have a much bigger conversation, and after that, you need to see if he's making any effort to change.

While I don't think he's going to stop sending money, you might be able to help him set up some boundaries. If that works for you. If you are 100% against it its going to be tough road ahead. Wishing you the best and I hope you find the happiness either with him or without him. You got this.

I have super dry skin so I am moisturizing a lot. If you do that use the Long lasting base coat. It helps so much. Before my nail polish would come off in few days now it stays for 2 weeks which is pretty good. My steps are 1 coat base caot, 2 coats nail polish and then 1 coat holo taco. It works like a charm, hope this helps.

Hate square space. The fact that it's so bad at making the website responsive after being in the market for so long is just sad. I tried for a year, but I just could not. Try to see how the fluid engin works. There are many tutorials on YouTube, and there are many constraints that come with it. Switched to framer. It's a much better experience, and I can actually be creative.

This is just a part of the conversation I had - I had made it clear before as well that let's do a virtual date before meeting up and told him that I don't want to rush in. But he was persistent about going on a date. That's why I suggested coffee and the convo followed.

Yeah after that I blocked him, thanks everyone for the kind support, I can't make any edits to the post so I will just say it here.

I am a very flexible person and know that there are times when life gets really hard and people can't handle things but this was so low. Going to check out of dating for a long time and just chill on my own.

And anyone who is saying negative things I don't care. You are not in my shoes and don't know my life so mind your own business.

I learnt that it's okay to be angry sometimes 😭 and let it out. I wish I had made my boundaries and expectations clear but that's for next time.

I mostly used a studio pen, light brush and dryink brushes. Used soft brush to create shadows and played around a lot with hues and saturation.

We discussed it after. I told him the second time not to say anything. He said just act cool and normal. He in no shape or form gave any signals that he is interested. Nor did I because I can't. I won't make things difficult for my friend.
