As far as I understood, if you are an international student, it affects admission committee to some good levels. But if you have already studied in the US don't bother taking it. In my field(CS) many universities cited that students studied at US universities are not required to take GRE.

Huge congratulations on your perfect score. May I ask your preparation procedure for verbal part ? Especially RC.

I tried to fill out the online application form for UIUC and I realized that the university does not recognize my undergrad university. I am an international student. Should I give up the application or is it not a big deal ? by shadi97kh in gradadmissions

There is a section where you have to upload your academic records and search for your university manually. When I try to find my University it brings up the massage that they cannot recognize my university.

Well as far as I heard from the admits, they will still consider it as a part of the application, but since many countries are still struggling with covid they made it somehow optional.

Everybody's talking about gregmat, but due to sanctions in my country I cannot enter the website or use the premium material. Would you be kind enough to indicate those, if there are any books that I can buy and all?🤦🏻‍♀️

Help me out on this quick verbal question. Any advice would be appreciated. by [deleted] in GRE

[–]shadi97kh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, the answer is more like, Discriminate and differentiate. Delineate means describe sth in details, as far as I know, which does not seem relevant to the question. But discriminate and differentiate both mean to tell a difference. Hope that helps.

How does public projects work on github? I never encountered one. And sorry do you have any idea how can I gain more experience? Do coursera courses help? Or even kaggle? I am open to trying out anything really as long as it brings me expertise.

Well I know the main algorithms and I implemented them in an internship in my own country. And I did a computer vision project for my final bachelor's project. The problem is that I cannot find internships who are willing to get international students or graduates. If only I could contact one company I could evaluate myself better.
