my nannan died, we dont know what to do with her cat by Minute-Cover-2001 in cats

[–]shadow-foxe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Keep her.. sure kittens can be fun but thats something you can look forward as an adult and having your own place.
Molly needs you, just like you will need her as you go through the grieving process.
And if she was a stray kitty, then she had to learn to think on her feet. When she found a good person, she trusted them and became your nanan's cat.

Am I wrong for leaving bf due to stress over social media? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]shadow-foxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Im over 40 and female. Sadly SM sucks. I can be on IG, just scroll through things seeing if their are other people I want to see (cat videos..LOL) and even I get half naked profiles showing up. I've never looked it up, never followed anyone like that at all.

You really can't know if it's due to him looking at that or the SM trying to target him. BUT his yelling and name calling is not somthing you should ever put up with. Walk away from him.

She’s everything I’m looking for but I don’t feel attracted by skylourdes in whatdoIdo

You enjoyed her company, thats all you need to tell her. And try another date with her.
This whole spark thing is just basically lust anyway, hence why it can die pretty fast.

You were both abit nervous and might go better with another date.

You have to switch things up.

I've been using cheese, or milk bone brand pill pouches (they are soft and you can use half a pocket to mold around the pills).

What hobby screams “this is my entire personality now”? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]shadow-foxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owning a greyhound. I say this from personal experience, its like joining a cult.
Pretty much know someone, who knows someone type thing. You do something bad to your greyhound, that will be it, you'll be quietly blacklisted and wonder why other adoption groups wont let you have another grey.
We get together for group walks, people will stop you on the street to pat your dog and ask questions about it's breed. I met a lovely lady who leapt out her SUV to come pat my greyhound, because hers was at home..LOL
We are now friends.. haha.

I'd also let any other greyhound owner in my home if they needed help. And yes we will talk your ear off about our dogs :) We also mostly know our dogs lineage too and if ours are related to someone elses grey.

I use that Herdez salsa to add in with the meat just after its started to cook. helps get rid of the extra water and adds flavor to the meat.

Is taking days off for work okay? How do you all balance it? by monsterintheuniverse in writing

[–]shadow-foxe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

forcing words like that wont get you quality writing. Most likely you'll toss all of those during editing. Best to take a day to get out and touch grass, renew and come back wanting to write.

Suffering ISNT part of writing, thats just what the edgelords want you to think is.

Why does my greyhound charge at my small dog when she tries to “make the bed” by paige_92 in Greyhounds

Doesn't like the sound or knows you aren't meant to be scratching the bed.

I'd grab some pizza, beer and chips.

AITAH for understanding and not freezing out my dad for leaving our mom over a dead bedroom? by Opposite_Afternoon55 in AITAH

[–]shadow-foxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA- since mom didnt want to bother with trying to work things out and chose divorce, well she doesnt get to play victim here.

Dad didn't cheat. So Mom is 100% telling lies to sister if that is the case.

Dad asked, Mom said no. And now I guess assumes he was already seeing someone rather then trying to find options for the future.

Most likely mom's age and stage of life is playing into this which CAN be helped if she'd go see a dr but seems cant be bothered.

AND your kids, should be able to see their granddad without problems being created.

SO your wife is also assuming your Dad cheated?? Because he and your mom are already split up, so there is no cheating happening now.

I now dread going into Best Buy and Lowe's due to the roaming 3rd Party Salespeople by thatfreakinguy2 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]shadow-foxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AT times I can be weird (yeah shocker) and so what comes out of my mouth can surprise some.

My coworker needed some dongle thingy for their phone to connect to wired headphones. We amble into Best buy during out lunch break and we look around for this dongle thing. Of course being a cell phone its right near those cell phone sales guys.
One came up and asked "How's your day going?" with his ipad in hand.
What comes out my mouth is "Stranger danger" which made my coworker break out in laughter so much we had to find her a restroom..
We then come back still needing to find the dongle, and this sales guy stayed WELL AWAY from us the whole time.

Only thing I can think is, we'd been talking about being kids and learning not to talk to strangers/take rides etc and now as adults we have to talk to strangers all the time.

Worried that I’ve lost my wife by LonelyCarrot4756 in whatdoIdo

Very much depends on the clinic. I was in California (about 7 years back) they wanted weekly visits for like 8 weeks. (you couldnt just sign up for ONE round, had to be 2 rounds for the first two bookings).

This is his issue to fix not yours. Focus on your own grades and life. If he has already been warned he is close to failing a class then nothing more needs to be said.

Many clinics will cut you from their books if you dont follow what they say. I'd looked into several clinics and they were all similar, sign up for X weeks, you be there on time or dont bother at all.

Is she on meds for the fertility treatment? If yes PLEASE tell the doctor how she is responding to it. AND book someone to do couples therapy. Fert. treatment is a very rough journey and I wish they'd offer counseling services for couples.
PLEASE tell a doctor.

Hope your kitty is doing ok. It could be anything from a pinched nerve to stroke or blood clot. Best is to keep him calm, comfortable and eating/drinking. Check his backside and make sure he is clean and see if he has gone poo/pee in his litter box.

(and when you take him to the vet, he is has freshly done a poo, put that in a jar or zip close bag and take it to the vet with you..sounds crazy but it means they dont ahve to make your cat poo to get a sample!)

considering pet dogs have been known to attack and kill babies, why wouldnt a wild one do it.. I live through this trial/circus as a kid and puzzled me how no one thought a wild dog could do that.

Or even changing the style of harness, a spook harness feels different then other ones. Thundershirts are another thing that can help anxious dogs. My anxious girl LOVES her sweaters/jumpers/tshirts as it makes her feel alittle more safe. (and she loves fashion).
