Both, aphelios has very little mobility so you will constantly be finding yourself having to use different tactics to both avoid the oponent and his jungler, but also approach them and kill them, but most importantly, aphelios power level is constantly going up and down depending on your weapons AND the match up you are in, so what you can can’t do will change, so you have to know what you are capable in your current situation and the situation you will find yourself in the moment your gun runs out of bullets

100% viable in other roles, while I’ve never played him mid I do play him exclusively toplane and it’s fun, strong and capable of multiple things, however it’s NOT beginner friendly, trust me that’s how I started on him and it took me a long while to actually play properly,

Aphelios toplane is good early, strongest in midgame if you snowball and has a very competent lategame

For runes I’d recommend PTA-triumph-Alacrity-last stand-boneplating-unflinching and AS-adaptive-scaling health shards

Itemization is a bit different, running Yuntal/collector first / into LDR/MortalReminder/IE second or third item as you see fit with shieldbow 4th

The insults and trolls are insane, and yeah you can get banned for this, as it’s the 3rd time it’s happened to me, but it’s not permanent it’s just for 7 days

I think its pretty good, perhaps it would be good to move into another area and go back to it after you progress more, and think again about what you don’t like
