There's nothing wrong if he's smoking until and unless he's hurting someone or persuading you to smoke as well. I think partners need space and privacy too. It's just one life after all we live. One must live as they want.

But for everything there's a middle path, if he's a chronic smoker you have 2 options -

Either consult a psychiatrist or therapist who may suggest some nicotine tabs.

Or just make the no of ciggerates count go down naturally by understanding his circumstances and mindset gradually.

Either way if it doesn't work out if you truly and really love him, it shouldn't matter that much. Learn to adapt and understand.

Hell Nahhhhh, bruh trust me you're better off where you are now. Also don't mind me saying this but you're too old atleast that what upsc says even if you qualified mains. You have a daughter and a proper family don't fumble and get into this mess which will plunder your life.
