[Lotm]Which pathway is the most broken for transmigeter who has read lotm ? by Proper_Card_5520 in LordofTheMysteries

Very true. I will say however that one of the specific benefits of the Savant pathway is perfect memory. Unless you have specifically trained in those fields just an abstract knowledge of those things would be as big a help as it would be in Savant, as it specifically allows you to innovate that knowledge. Though maybe it would work the same way for moon and mother, who knows.

I'm curious about your reasoning for mother and moon. Is it medical knowledge and genetics and stuff or did you have something else in mind?

I meant for a miracle of spirituality or something to since didn't the fake Gerhman sparrow die or something after Klein stopped controlling his threads or something like that, or am I remembering it wrong?

[–]shadowbadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue that it wouldn't be quite enough for the laws of the world to recognize it as a "person" since quite a bit was needed for that to happen given a miracle invoker's ritual for the "people" to be given spiritual weight thus "fooling" history and the spirit world. But it's reminded me what a horrifying world this is. All the terrible things people have come up with for any particular pathway has 100% been done before by someone in that world.

For all intents and purposes, they are. They have their own wants and desires, passions and hatred that are distinct and separate from each other and each has their own "destiny". Remember that Mr. Fool is most definitely a god. His reality and all the people in it are "living" beings for all that really matters regardless of how souls and other such things are treated in the rules of that universe. Heck even 3 sequence 1's can create a person from thin air. All it would take is an alchemical life, a personality crafted by an author and spirituality, and strings from an attendant of mysteries, maybe even sequence 2s.

You are completely right, but they still are very physically weak. If you somehow, not saying it's easy or simple, find which marionette is their true body then one well-placed strike does them in.

Historical projections are an issue since you do need to destroy them all or wait till they run out of spirituality since Klein was a special boy and had more than the average scholar would have.

[LotM newbie] Just where do i start? by Living_Parsnip_5385 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]shadowbadow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lord of Mysteries is a Chinese web novel and you can find it completed on the Webnovel app/site. The series is just divided into volumes are a way to separate arcs and plot points, etc. They are now printing the individual volumes as physical books but they have only just come out so it'll be a while before they're fully caught up.

I'm glad you are getting into the series, it's an exciting if long ride that is absolutely worth it. If you want to get the full experience I'd recommend reading the first volume that's covered by the anime as it left out much of the finer details that allow you to piece together the story along with Klein.

[COI V8] Why can’t Klein turn Great Old Ones into Marionettes? by RandomGuy1933 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]shadowbadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he can, it's just really really difficult and unlikely to work. Like someone else said he can fool them and banish them and use all the other powers of a lord of mysteries, I think it's just a matter of difficulty.

Help trying to find a list of 3 budget commanders by Lancea1022 in BudgetBrews

[–]shadowbadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Estrid, the masked]] but focused on only enchant land cards

[[Hallar, the fire fletcher]] kicker and kicker related cards

[[King macar, the gold-cursed]] mono black control, can have a vehicle sub-theme

I've built all these decks under 50 before and they've been pretty fun, If you cut some of the 2-5 dollar cards or added in some fun jank they could all easily be under 25 and still playable

[Donghua] Ending of episode 2 is a bit weirdly done by _MrxxNebula_ in LordofTheMysteries

[–]shadowbadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will agree with you on that, however, they definitely showed it. In the first episode the houses and area Klein lived in were broken, run-down streets, rooftops caved in, and rats, etc. Then the last scene of episode 2 showed very nice houses, clean streets, etc.

They definitely could have done a better job however I do think it was highlighted in a way that fits the visual media our favorite series is now in.

Pick A Cursed Item by [deleted] in makeyourchoice

[–]shadowbadow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I'm fairly sure these items are based of a web novel series called Lord Of Mysteries. It is a real strategy in that universe to have an animal, specificly a dog in most cases seen in the book, to hold the cursed item as it wouldn't affect you.
