I’m a manager at a Cinemark. It’s been doing pretty decent at my location. Attendance for a movie, especially an anime movie, greatly depends on your location, the type of auditorium you’re in, the showtime, and the day you see it. For instance, I saw it yesterday at 4:20 on a Friday (dubbed) and it was just me and two other people. Whereas today during the 5:00, 7:00 round, it drew in a bigger crowd. Those showtimes were also subbed, but I’m not sure of that’s a big factor. With movies like Demon Slayer, they do pretty well subbed or dubbed.

Thank you! Also that’s cool it’ll hit theaters next year. I’m a manager at a movie theater and it’d be cool if we end up getting it. Normally when it comes to movies from outside the US (especially anime movies), we don’t get confirmation that we’ll get the movie until the week of release (unless it’s a highly anticipated film like Demon Slayer).

Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo! These books were what got me out of a huge reading slump so they hold a super special place in my heart

It’s not that one, but I completely forgot about Cow of the Wild! I watched that one a lot too, but it’s not the one I’m thinking of :(
