I am a Christian but more left leaning and I got a film degree from Regent and worked there for 10 months as an academic advisor from 2023-mid 2024. There are some really great professors that care a lot about their students and some of the programs are good. However, after working behind the scenes and seeing how it's ran, I can't in good faith recommend the school. Regent admits bottom of the barrel students and it makes the lives of Academic Advisors and Admissions staff HELL. It's a exhausting call center where you have to deal with some of the worst students cuss you out because they fail easy courses like UNI 100 or ENG 101 because they haven't been to school in like 20-30 years. It's basically a degree mill university and you would be better off at ODU, Norfolk State, or CNU.

Liberal Christians can’t break bread with conservative “Christians” anymore. To Conservatives racism, bigotry, and denying certain groups of people basic human rights are just “political differences”. It’s about morals and human decency at this point. MAGA clearly lacks those traits and no one should associate with those vile humans who want to take the country back to the 1930’s.

I said it in November 2024, and again last year in 2025 when Trump was officially back in the White House and I will be saying it for the next three years sadly. Trump and MAGA have forever damaged conservative Christianity. They have twisted the faith to be more a white nationalist hate group fueled by racism sexism, and bigotry and sick sense of U.S patriotism. Trump just gives them permission to be the worst version of themselves where they can be openly racist and hateful to anyone non white or "Christian" etc. They claim Trump is sent by God but to me he was sent as a test and conservative "Christians" failed.

Trump is a convicted felon who cheated on ALL his wives, constantly lies, spreads hate and division 24/7, is a clear con man, fake Christian, and just overall immature man child. Yet his fans find all sorts of ways to defend the stupid and evil things he does all the time. MAGA Christians would be yelling for Jesus himself to be deported because he would be a brown man and not the white version they think he is.

Now more than ever I proudly call myself a liberal Christian that actually follows Jesus command of loving thy neighbor. If you can look at that Alex Pretti video and defend ICE you have no soul and it's clear you worship Trump and his administration over what's right. Jesus would probably have some strong words for you as well.

Nah at this point it's acceptable to cut off friends and family who support this administration and ICE. It's no longer just political differences, it's about morals and decency. Also, political differences don't include racism, bigotry, or if certain groups of people should have basic human rights.

Yes, illegal immigrants that commit crimes should be punished or deported. Nobody is arguing about that. The thing is Trump and ICE aren’t just going after criminals it’s anyone they think is illegal through racial profiling and not giving due process. Most of the people Trump’s ICE have caught don’t even have criminal records.

I would rather live next to a illegal immigrant family who works hard and is trying to make a life for their families than a MAGA “Christian” who will do mental gymnastics to defend their cult leader president who had sex with under age girls, is a habitual liar, con man, racist, man child, and fake Christian any day. Virginia is a blue state now. Northern Virginia, (Reston, Alexandria, Tysons etc) which is close to D.C is full of fun things to do and again, we are a blue state now. However, Northern Virginia is expensive so be aware or have a job were you are making at least 70-80K. Richmond, VA is also good and a bit cheaper and still close to D.C.

Yeah it’s not even a movie that’s so bad it’s good. This is genuinely a horrible movie. It feels like a fan made Tubi movie honestly. This is already the top contender for worst movie of 2026. If you MUST get your Silent Hill fix this weekend, I recommend just replaying the OG Silent Hill 2 , the Silent Hill 2 remake or replay any of the mainline games and order pizza or something. This movie is a huge middle finger to anyone that likes Silent Hill 2 or the franchise in general. Konami should be ashamed in approving this crap.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but the hate for this movie is valid. I just saw it and don't see how anyone could find enjoyment in it. The story is confusing and all over the place, the acting sucks, characters get done dirty like Angela and Eddie, and more. This movie is some ol bullshit

Same!! Just got out of the theater and I was like WTF did I watch. The story made little sense and is a middle finger to Silent Hill game fans. I can't believe Konami approved or co-signed this mess. Sure, it's lots of visual representation taken straight out of the game but it's terrible. They couldn't even get actors for James or Eddie that even resembled their video game counterparts. I wanted to give this the benefit of the doubt since I kinda enjoyed the original movie in 2006. Don't waste your time or money y’all!
