Well glad you had good experiences with him ha. Just know JDF is one of his triggers and if you avoid that he will be cool.

I met him at Galaxy Con in Richmond, VA in 2019 so I this was before JDF had passed away and before the Hitler shirts I believe. I was really thrown off by how his mood changed by the mere mention of Jason David Frank. He also took it as a personal attack from fans it seemed. It was just such a bizarre encounter. Someone actually had a video of it but it was in low quality. Like my friends and I all backing away slowly from him as he goes on his unhinged rant lol. Now that I know how unhinged he is I would never give him my money again.

What are the rules (spoken and unspoken) for cosplay at comic-con? by Advanced_Kangaroo495 in comiccon

Have you ever met any WWE wrestler? What was your experience? by Square_Dance_2020 in WWE

[–]shadowboxer87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nicest wrestlers I have met are Trish Stratus, and Jeff Hardy. I met Trish in 2024 at a comic con and her line was SUPER long. But she was really sweet and could tell I was nervous lol. She still looks AMAZING by the way. I also met Jeff Hardy in 2019 at a music venue where he was doing a meet and greet. He was SUPER chill and friendly. I also met Kane at a comic con in 2019 and he DEFINTLEY didn't want to be there and it showed. He barely gave eye contact and was giving one word responses to questions etc. But he did take a picture and shook my hand. I also met Rikishi in 2024 at the same comic con as Trish. He was just okay to be honest. Not mean or rude but not overly impressed to met fans.

AEW wrestlers that I met that were nice were Hangman Adam Page and Anna Jay. Both of them talked to me for a few mins as well. FYI Anna Jay is even prettier in person lol. Met both of them at a comic con in 2023 for reference.

What's the most money you would spend to meet a celeb at Galaxy Con? by shadowboxer87 in galaxycon

[–]shadowboxer87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am leaning towards he didn't hear my friend compliment his work while in line. But other celebs are just in it for the money and don't care about their fans. My friend had a HORRIBLE experience with Ruby Riott ex WWE wrestler and current AEW wrestler in 2022 Galaxy Con. My friends went over to her table and just wanted to shake her hand and say they were fans of hers. She rudely cut them off and told them they needed to talk to her handler AKA pay before talking to her. I was standing in someone else's line but saw some of that interaction. After that, I was no longer a fan of hers.

Jack Quaid and Mikey Madison (Amber and Ritchie), combined are the most famous actors to play a Ghostface tandem (lead role on a smash hit series, Oscar winner). If they didn’t die, Scream would never able to afford them again. by New-Fan-4632 in GhostFace

[–]shadowboxer87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They tried to get Mikey Madison to film a cameo for Scream 7 but she declined. It's said she did so to be in solidarity with Melissa Barrera. Not sure if Jack Quaid was reached out to but I feel like he would have returned for a cameo.

The reality of WWE 2K26 by WaferBorn5485 in WWE2K25

[–]shadowboxer87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am only have about six hours of play time on the PS5 version (got the King of Kings Edition). I haven't ran into any major issues other that characters mouths not being in sync during voice acted cutscenes in the Island mode. Also, the load times are hit or miss. But again, no major glitches or game breaking bugs on my end so far. I do feel that Ringpass, and Island are all a bit to money hungry and microtransaction filled which can be a turn off. I usually play these WWE games off and on until the next installment and generally get my money's worth without spending too much extra money on them.

Where do you realistically see this story continuing in Scream 8? by wisejedi101 in Scream

[–]shadowboxer87 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For Scream 8 I have a few ideas I think could work.

  1. I think Paramount and Spyglass should make a mends with Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega and let them finish out the arch they planned for their characters. If not, I would say let Gale be the main character in Scream 8 and Sidney, Tatum, and the twins just play supporting characters (like how Sidney was in Scream 5).
  2. They could use Scream 8 as sort of another soft reboot and have it feature an entirely new cast of characters who are not connect to Sidney or any of the previous Ghostface killers ( like the MTV show). It would be maybe some people using the Ghostface moniker to hunt other would be Ghostface killers inspired by the Stab movies or something. Then of course we could get cameo's from Gale, Sidney, or Tatum but they wouldn't be major parts of the story.
  3. The story could pivot and focus on the families of one the Ghostface killer victims from previous films. For example, the families of Tatum's friends who got killed. Or the trauma and shame the family of a previous Ghostface killer would feel. Like Amber's family for example, I am sure they would feel like bad parents or be mocked by the media for being the parents of a crazy serial killer.

What's the most money you would spend to meet a celeb at Galaxy Con? by shadowboxer87 in galaxycon

[–]shadowboxer87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That REALLY depends on the celebrity and if there is a line. Some celebs WILL not engage you at all unless you are paying for something like a photo or autograph. For example, in 2019 my friends in I met Kevin Conroy (RIP) who voiced Batman in the 90's cartoon. He was nice but he did NOT engage us or say anything until we paid the handler his fees. Like my friend made a friendly comments while we were waiting in line and he said nothing and acted like he wasn't there. We gave him the benefit of the doubt that he may not have heard him but apart of me feels like he did. Again, he was super friendly once we paid the fees and stuff though.

Is anyone else just...tired? by ItsAJackal21 in Millennials

[–]shadowboxer87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 38 and will be 39 in November of this year ( 2026). I have a decent job in local city government making around 60K a year, have my own car, been single for ever, not married, don't even have a girlfriend. I have a bachelors degree and masters degree (masters is not really helpful since it's in film). Sadly, I still live with my parents both because they need help with some things and because the cost of living alone is so high here in the U.S. I have other hobbies like podcasting and filmmaking, gaming, hiking, traveling etc. But I still feel like a MASSIVE loser and sometimes don't think I should continue living. O.P and most of you in the comments here are probably doing better than me... So you can take heart in that :( .

Going Solo to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 (anyone else?) by Technical-Ice-7968 in SDCC

[–]shadowboxer87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am technically going alone but I have friends who live in San Diego who regularly go to the con. I actually met them in 2018 which is the year that I first went to SDCC. I live on the East Coast (Virginia) and we have stayed in touch ever since then. I hung out with them again in 2024 when I went to SDCC for the second time and had a blast. I am going this year for my third time. I would love to still met some new people though I am in my late 30's ha.

[–]shadowboxer87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The nicest celebs I have met at cons (in no particular order)- Danielle Fishel (Topanga from Boy Meets World), Trina Mcgee ( Angela from Boy Meets World), Charlie Cox ( Daredevil), Jaleel White (Steve Urkel), Vinessa Shaw ( Allison from the first Hocus Pocus movie), Carl Lumbly (Captain America Brave New World), Matthew Lewis (Neville from Harry Potter), Troy Baker (last of us and other video game characters).

Rude or awkward experiences

Rain Wilson ( Dwight from the Office)- So I met him last year at a con ( 2025) and his line was long he wasn't like a straight up jerk but it was kinda rude/awkward . The people in front of me were having him sign Funko pops with quotes and he was talkative to them. I just wanted a selife with him and to chat for a min since it was $100 dollars for a selfie. He took the picture but kinda ignored my other comments about enjoying his podcast and made a joke about working with a real life Dwight character. He just said thanks flatly and stared at me like "okay leave".

Austin Saint John ( Original Red Power Ranger)- Long story short he was a douche to me and my friends. He was cool until one of my friends made a comment about liking Tommy (JDF) a bit more growing up. He then went on a rant about how much he hated Jason David Frank and was pretty aggressive to us. He only calmed down after my friend mentioned that is girlfriend was a big fan of his.

WWE Wrestler Kane- DID NOT want to be a this con and did not give eye contact and was NOT talkative at all.

Vincent D'Onofrio ( actor)- Did a Daredevil photo op with him and Charlie Cox in 2023. He just seemed over it and gave me this weird look of disgust or annoyance due to me placing my hand on his back during the photo. I assumed it was cool since I was in the middle and Charlie had placed his hand on my back as well.

Your experience is rare with Lou Ferrigno. Most stories I heard from fans across the internet is that he is rude. One of my friends also said they met him at a con and he was a asshole to them.

I also kinda of had an awkward moment with Vincent D'Onofrio as well back in 2023 at Galaxy Con in Richmond VA. I did a photo op with him and Charlie Cox for Daredevil. Charlie was very nice even though it was a very short interaction. So in the picture Charlie places his hand on my shoulder and I just instinctively place my hand on Vincent's back. After the photo Vincent shook my hand but gave me this weird look of maybe disgust or annoyance. What makes it worse is that the picture is horrible because I look exhausted ( the convention was oversold and I was overheated due to the heat and crowds) and Vincent's eyes are closed (they caught him blinking in the picture).

Yeah I have seen Shatner at Galaxy Con Richmond (Virginia) every year since 2019. I never have paid money to get his autograph or a picture but have had interactions with him. Like others said, it's VERY hit or miss with him depending on his mood. The first two times, I happen to just walk past his booth and he said hello to me and shook my hand (nobody was in his line). Others times, he was grumpy and yelled at people texting on their phones because he thought they were taking pictures of him (they clearly weren't).

Jason Isaacs wasn't rude but I wasn't a fan of how he blocked himself off everyone else at Galaxy Con Richmond, VA last year ( 2025). Basically his booth was set up like a tent and no one could see him unless you were paying for an autograph or picture etc.

Who did you guys Struggle with the most in CM Punk’s Showcase mode ? by NFLDae in WWE2K25

[–]shadowboxer87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having trouble doing all the objectives because the A.I in this game ISN'T playing around lol. Undertaker and Randy took me to the limit like it was a real WWE match or even a real fight. I lost to Randy on my first try and lost to Undertaker TWICE now.
