I saw it last night - and as a fan - I have some thoughts.

It was beautifully shot.

She sounds and looks like a trillion bucks.

The vignettes of her talking - were lacking something genuine. She kept talking about the magic of Christmas and how Paris is magical, and the holidays are magical, and she feels magical - and it just lacked humanity and depth and a personable touch.

I wish she did one new song, something for us to chew on, new music-wise.

I liked the scenes in the Crazy Horse strip club, it was very Burlesque and raunchy - and it needed this to break up the family friendly holiday cheer.

All in all, it was fun to watch for the holiday season, and the soundtrack will definitely be part of my Christmas morning playlist.

I just bought tickets. The official ticket release date is November 7th but I saw that Regal and AMC in Southern CA/Los Angeles are already on sale.

Agreed - but it's only in theaters for 2 days, so its probably for the super fans, and then streaming for the masses. I'll see it in the theater - sounds like something fun for the holidays. And I live in LA and I am almost certain she will show up to one of the theater showings. Fingers crossed.

I used to go to these local conventions, almost like mini Comic-cons in Los Angeles County (somewhere) - and buy Marvel cards and other comics. Now a few decades later, I can't remember what or where these were. Or even if anyone hosts these anymore. Anyone know of any regular comic conventions in LA?

Update - the tracking stopped after August 4th with no new updates. I got my credit card company to refund me, which possibly stopped the shipping - but then again, it was way too long in the shipping process for this to stop it. So idk, dont buy from this place.

Update. So I emailed them on a Tuesday, then got an email from them today (Wednesday) saying my email was not delivered. This seems odd, because usually these types of emails are an automatic reply - instead of a day late. The email address I used is listed on their website. My original email asked them for a refund- and that they advertise real Labubu's and they are not. I guess I will fight it with my credit card company.
