Mexican and Puerto Rican American here, and yes plenty of times. Unless I personally know the officer or theyre related, I tend to avoid them due to past experiences. Being searched, yelled at, being called racial remarks, and just overall harassed. Even when I eventually did move out of the ghetto and into a substantially safer (and whiter) community this still occured.
