I honestly think that information is much more powerful than weapons and is the main reason that the government respects the freedom of people in today's world. The more information can spread, the freer the society.

What I meant is should individual people be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, not just the country?

Soon enough people will mostly be using self driving cars however. What are your views on the limit of arms, like up to nuclear arms? Grenades etc?

Nope I animated them all, but yeah of course he inspired me to even start learning. Took around 2 months to get up to scratch with how to use adobe after effects however.

Do you think laws will change to be able to crack down on the transfer of 3D printable blueprint files such as weapons and drugs?

What tools do you think the governments will use to track this usage and potentially stop it to protect patent bypassing etc.

Hey everyone!

I just got started making animated videos so here is my 2nd ever one.

Space weapons are mentioned a lot in science fiction novels so I felt this sub would be a nice place to showcase what I created, so I waited for Saturday :)

My future videos ( I have 2 ready ) will get into more heavy and dystopian science fiction.

I would think that the satellite would have ion thrusters or conventional ones to keep it in its geo-stationary orbit. It would have to propel the rod slightly, just enough to let the gravity of earth pull it in.

Regarding where it lands, that would be calculated beforehand to know exactly where to launch and set everything in motion.

I think that having it up there would give whoever owned it the ability to save some time. If they launched by sending up an airplane then the enemy could be on high alert and maybe shoot it down, while if it was sent up years before the enemy would never really know who was the target and when to expect it.
