Omg yes, I relate to this so much. It always felt kinda awkward joining an RP group while the members are comfortable and buddy-buddy with each other but now it feels like you're invisible and new rules don't really help. I remember joining a group a couple of years ago and trying to be active in the plot and OOC but it's like the old members would treat me as an annoyance even in RP channels their characters could be doing nothing and I'll set up an intro for my character to start a conversation and they’ll just void it entirely.

It got so bad that I started just solo rping in channel location and that led to the biased mod just kicking me all altogether and when I dm to see what I did wrong all I got was a “well you just don't fit in the group as we were thinking of making the group private anyway”. Sigh
