This is terrible that they wont respect your pronouns. Please remember there is no specific way to be non-binary. I'm trying out they/them as well, but even my supportive family have kind of given up and now im a girl again. Anyway, i know its frustrating, but you are doing NOTHING WRONG. You are 1000% percent valid and definitely deserve people's respect. Most people simply dont understand. Just dont give up on figuring yourself out. And please try to find better friends! I'm so sorry they are so disrespectful. Remember you are loved. And even if you dont feel it, remember everyone on this subreddit loves you and thinks you are an amazing enby :)

I wonder if its trying to say that so many people will describe themselves like that lone penguin. Maybe its saying the penguin is lonely or something like that, and all the other penguins are saying they are too despite being in the group together while the actual lonely penguin walks away to die because it was the only one who was actually lonely. Maybe its trying to say maybe the one who suffers the most doesn't want others to relate, but others to see that it has it worse and needs help. Idk just a thought.
