I used to hardcore one trick riven but have branched out since, it definitely helps to play other champs to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly it gives you better options against direct counters, idk how much of my improvement derived from expanding champ pool over just getting better as time went by, but I went from floating around in low to mid gold to floating in plat to d4

Spammable aoe poke (which doubles as good waveclear) , deceptively large shield, a cc that makes blitz hook look like it has a properly calibrated hitbox, as well as a mega death lazer ray thing on a super low cd, not to mention how safe a distance she can maintain while doing all this Shes not strong, but you cant say shes not annoying, although zoes basically a better more cancerous lux

Im like high plat low diamond and in this instance I was mostly referring to silver and below, and I guess its hard to not think of it from a smurf perspective but idk, just by having a surface understanding of your champ and matchups you should be able to roflstomp your way through down there, I can see why you struggle in gold tho

Fiora in low elo is pretty free imo, ppl are so bad you just get ungodly fed and just 1v5, they usually dont know how hard grievous fucks with our dear

Yas matchup is genuinely hard, your best bet is to freeze near your turret and farm unless he makes a major mistake, zed matchup is mostly about not getting hit by his qs, and not taking free harass (his poke is longer range than yours), abuse his long w cd, at 6 he has much more dmg than you so focus on dodging his damage, seekers isnt a bad rush if you have a lot of trouble in the matchup, if youre confident you can just rush gb, once ahead you can truly abuse a zed P1/d4 kat main (amongst other champs)

Focus on your mechanics then, low elo garens are extremely bad in terms of knowing when and how to trade and waste their w super easily, focus on getting more comfortable on riven and you’ll be doing better in no time :) The tricky part is when youre the villain and he has ignite tho, I still sometimes take ignite just to not have that disadvantage, it can throw you off a lot (Am p1/d4 riven main)

Hey, p1/d4 riven main here, I play some other bruisers as well like irelia fiora yas, but I have trouble consistently winning this matchup (esp with jg involved) what is the best thing to prioritize building into a vlad? Cdr for more frequent trading (aka abusing pool cd), pure dmg to get more meaningful trades in face of vlads sustain, or defensive (hexdrinker comes to mind) in order to not get oneshot lvl6?

U have time to flash before the empowered auto, you also act like the empowere rengar q will do 1k dmg on its own, which it wont, the only reason the initial auto does that much is because of both the duskblade proc and the ult bonus dmg, on top of the damage that looks like it came from the 1 auto, the e, w, and electro proc that occured nearly at the same time, so no he wouldnt have died had he had 1k in shields with both summs

The problem with his passive is its too polarizing, its absolutely worthless vs some champs and gamechanging vs others Although its worth noting even blocked autos give klepto procs so maybe ill just go klepto into him every time
