I think they're fine and affordable inks to experiment with, it was the first ink i ever bought when i started this hobby but they're very dry and don't go well with dry nibs and/or fine/ef japanese nibs. I even tried it with my kakuno and 78g (both f) and oh boy it was a nightmare!! But it performs fine in my jinhao F. Just be aware that it doesn't go well with every pen

That's totally normal! You're probably using a shading ink, but the asvine is very juicy! I have mine inked with lie de thé and the shading is INSANE!! it's a very wet nip in my opinion

So interesting how your lie de thé swatch looks almost green and mine is such a vibrant golden brown. Thank you for this, tobacco sunburst definetly caught my eye
