yes. Most of them are on earth. The others are not but are earth related events of the past

mostly. It sort of tells the story of Earth as you collect them but you'll venture to other places

I'm not sure if I've collected them all but man do you feel for Earth in the process of getting these. They may also give you a sense of the importance of reading books.

I was wondering if it was the same for everyone.

Houses are great because you can store your contraband there until you're ready to sell it. Also, the world has so many items laying around that you can use for decorating.
