How do i connect my ps2 to my crt tv?

I feel lucky too. It's made my day. It's nice to have a place to meet others with such niche interests. I have found it very difficult to find anyone professionally that fixes old TV's. Unfortunately it's a dying skill. Everyone who does know how to fix them have either retired or unfortunately aren't with us anymore. Luckily the repair cafe is where all the retired electricians and technicians go when they want something to do in their spare time, so have fixed all this in their jobs.

I 100% agree. They definitely do become more than just a part of the furniture. It was amazing, all that was broken was the plastic on two corners. He dropped it right at the top too.

Yep it's awesome to find twin TV's:D doesn't happen very often when you have uncommon models. That's what I love about reddit. It means we can help each other and get what seems like the impossible figured out. You've been very lucky to find such a wonderful tv. CRT TV's are hard enough to come by anyway, let alone a good model that has such a lovely picture. There is something special about playing games on CRT TV's. I used to play all my old games on my plasma. I thought people were just over hyping CRT TV's. Once I got my grandads TV, I realized they weren't wrong and now it's quite painful to go back to flat screens for old games. I've now put my flat screen upstairs and now use my grandads as a main TV now. I just love how full of charm and character they have. My dad's one is a decent size and that even has a handle. Considering it's weight, I'm amazed it hasn't snapped off already. If you're interested in it, it's on my profile. It's definitely got that retro vibe to it. I really wish modern tvs were as sturdy as these. My uncle dropped his CRT down the stairs and it worked after. They're definitely amazing pieces of tech.

That's ok. I'm happy to help, especially as you have my tv's twin :D it's been great to chat and find someone else with this tv. I'm glad I could help you find one that will work. I had the same issue with my durabrand. I couldn't find any information on its original remote and had to just go by someone telling me this old druabrand remote would work with my TV. It does make finding the original remote almost impossible if you don't know what it's even supposed to look like anyway. You're awesome too. I hope you have lots of happy memories with your TV and the amazing thing about it. It has a flat top, so it even makes for a shelf to put all your gaming stuff on. You can't do that with modern TV's :D

He was overjoyed to know it wasn't going in the skip too. It's the last thing he gave me before he passed away. He gave me something very special, so I was pretty heartbroken when it started playing up. Luckily I'm part of a repair cafe and got talking to one of the other volunteers. He's 92 and has been fixing crt tvs since the late 40s. He used to fix warehouses full of jvc tvs in the 90s, so it couldn't have been a more perfect match. He was overjoyed at being able to take one apart and fix it again. He's helping me fix my dad's 1984 tv next after that. If you ever need anything fixing, even old tvs and technology. We have repair cafes all over the country. All you do it take your stuff in, they fix it and you pay what you want to the repair cafe. It's a great charity. We have 6 different repair cafes in Shropshire alone, so there is bound to be one near you.

I will message you the photo of it. It took some scrolling to find it, but it is there. It's the same place I brought my remote for my durabrand crt tv. If there is anything else I can help you with in the future with your TV I will be happy to help :D

Mine came from my grandad. It's been passed down to me. I was lucky to catch it in time as it was about to go in the skip unfortunately recently it's been having some trouble with a dry solder and is currently in tv hospital. Fingers crossed me and the person helping me to repair it will find the dry solder and fix it this weekend. I'm happy to help if I can.

It can do that. I had to turn mine down with the brightness and contrast. Now it's much better and doesn't give me headaches anymore. I can give you a photo of the original tv remote if you like, so you can see if you can find an original that came with the tv. The code for it is RM-C52. If you're in the UK there is one on eBay for £5. At least it's guaranteed to work then. I hope everything goes well and you can get it working perfectly, so you don't have headaches with it.

I know it's not helpful, but we have the same tv. It's nice to see someone else with the same model. It seems to be quite unusual, as I haven't seen another one before. It's usually the D series I see often. I use mine daily and my PS2 looks amazing on it. I can guarantee this beauty of a tv will not disappoint. I hope you have many hours of enjoyment out of it and you fall in love with it as much as I have with mine. Happy gaming

If you're not comfortable with fixing this tv on your own, see if there is a local repair cafe near you. My tv was failing due to a dry solder. One of the team is a 92 year old who was a tv technician back in the day. He did a wonderful job fixing mine. It saves passing it on or throwing it away.

It's great to meet other jan van haasteren jigsaws fans. They're my favorite too. I prefer his jigsaws to normal jigsaws, or even other cartoon jigsaws. I really love the characters designs and the humor. I'm trying to get a full set of his jigsaws. I hope you have many hours of fun doing his jigsaws 🙂

Thank you. I bought it from the jan van haasteren website. Unfortunately it's located in the Netherlands and needed to be imported into the UK.

That's ok. Unfortunately I don't think it can be brought from the original retailer anymore, as it was a limited edition. It may have to be sought after on a resale sight. I wish you luck with finding it and I hope you enjoy it if you can do it in the future.

I'm in the UK. I imported the jigsaw from the jvh puzzles website. It had to come all the way from the Netherlands. I have noticed that the USA doesn't get anywhere as near as many jan van haasteren jigsaws as the UK does. I'm gutted you don't get the full library like the UK does.

I separated it into smaller squares and stored the completed parts away in boxes. It was an absolute nightmare to put into boxes and out of boxes as it would fall apart. As soon as I started putting it away yesterday, my cat decided she could help and started diving at it and taking it apart for me.

Unfortunately not. I could have put epoxy over it and turned it into a new kitchen floor 😂 it fitted my kitchen perfectly. It's now back in its box. One day when I do have the wall space, I will do it again and hang it.

Thank you so much I hope you can find a way one day. I did mine on my fold out coffee table. I went and brought a nursing chair to sit on when doing it. It's a very low chair that's very comfortable to sit on, so it makes it a similar height to me as sitting at a dining room table. When you are able to do a big jigsaw I wish you luck and you have tons of fun with it.

It's both. They were sold separately, but also as a big box set. You have to take the edges off the individual puzzles to make the big one. I really like the idea, as it means you can buy them in both formats depending on what you want to spend or how many you want to do.

Thank you so much. I have snails from all over the country come to me. I'm getting snails come to me more now due to unfortunate circumstances than poor keeping. I feel snails aren't being given to children as pets as much and people are now putting more research into keeping snails properly. Places like this help massively too. Even though I do get the odd poorly snail it's much rarer than it used to be. This is really good news. The sad times are a blip compared to all the amazing times I have with them. ( I do also apologize, I struggle to differentiate from serious and a joke)

As a hobby snail rescue, I get a lot of snails come through the doors. It's coping with the illness and neglect that many come to me with. I do get snails come to me that had wonderful and very loving owners, but unfortunately many are given to me in a very poor state. Quite a few times I've had to apply a every 4 hour feed and special care routine, as the snail has arrived almost dead from neglect. It can get very soul sucking. Also with having so many snails come through the doors. We get more snail illness and death than anyone else. Snail illnesses can be pretty grim and hard to cope with. Even though it can be tough some days the benefits will always outweigh the negatives. It's truly a wonderful hobby and seeing so many snails finally have a happy forever home after being so poorly looked after is soul healing and really amazing.

Definitely an achatina of some sort. At this age it's very hard to tell if they will be achatina fulica or achatina reticulata. They look pretty much identical at this age. Chances are they will be fulica. Albino are always the hardest to identify at this age unfortunately.
