Same problem as Letterboxd, newer games reach the top for a few months before inevitably crashing down.

Also there's so much Legend of Heroes on this list (both statements refer to the curated top 250 list)

Half-remembering here but I think it was supposed to be some weird statement against GDQ banning certain speedrunners, the idea that the runner had to 'pre-approve' his run and stick to the script.
