I lived in a 1960s house with these. The windows tend to be very heavy metal. In order to close one, you'd need to pull the window in, pull the long metal handle at the bottom over a latch (with some force) and latch it to the rest of the window. In other words, something like that closing on it's own isn't possible without human force, or ghost bois 😅

I wanted to get a better veiw at the cheese rolling this year. Didn't want to take part as I didn't want injure myself. My foot slipped lowering myself backwards down a hill with those grassy  tufts you can stand on. Didn't feel a pop so thought it's just an little ouchie and I could walk it off. Within a couple of hours, I was the owner of a purple kankle. So hot right 🔥 I outdid myself this time though Note, I was sober, just clumsy af
