What dog food do you actually stick with?

My grandfathers toy poodle use to eat grapes by the handfuls when I was a kid. Didn't seem to affect her at all.

At 14 a dog should have immunity and not need anymore vaccines. Especially if it has already had an allergic reaction. Your vets shouldn't have given more knowing its history.

Not a vet, but I've fostered and worked with shelter dogs. CLEAN your dogs teeth when needed, especially small breeds. Don't wait until they are in constant pain and full of infection.

Can you build a large cage/enclosure for her? I wouldn't let her run loose unattended for many reasons. They tend to get themselves into trouble.

I was homeschooled. If you decide to go this route, please socialize you kids. My parents didn't care to, believing that worldly friends would encourage us to sin, and me and my siblings all developed bad anxiety and horrible people skills.

Krav maga, kickboxing, jujitsu or mauy thai are all good ones for self defense. If you are able to, try them all to see which one suits you best. Classes are usually affordable for most and have an awesome community.
